Arrivalstar and Melvino Technologies Sue AT&T Mobility for Patent Infringement

 

Indianapolis, Indiana – Patent lawyers for Arrivalstar S.A. of Welter, Luxembourg, and Melvino Technologies Limited of Tortola, British Virgin Islands, filed a patent infringement suit alleging AT&T Mobility, LLC of Atlanta, GA, and others including Best Buy and Sprint are infringing Patent No. 6,741,927, titled USER-DEFINABLE COMMUNICATIONS METHODS AND SYSTEMS, as issued by the U.S. Patent Office.

The ‘927 patent covers methods and systems for receiving notifications concerning the travel of a mobile device, and the plaintiffs’ complaint asserts that the defendants’ various systems for locating a family member via a mobile phone or personal computer infringe the patent.

This case has been assigned to Senior Judge Larry J. McKinney and Judge Jane E. Magnus-Stinson in the Southern District of Indiana, and assigned case no. 1:10-cv-00676-LJM-JMS.Complaint – Arrival Star v. AT&T
